We wanted to let you know that Castaway Cove will be closed for one week so that we can perform yearly maintenance this November.

This maintenance includes an inspection of all of the pirate ship features to ensure that they are working properly and safely, as well as a thorough cleaning and swabbing of the decks. Work will begin on Monday, November 1st and will continue through Sunday, November 7th with Castaway Cove reopening again on Monday, November 8th. Although the closure will affect the entire facility- including Speedy’s Sprayground, the wading pool, Jacuzzi and waterslides- we’re happy to announce that our heated Garden Pool will remain open for our guests to use and enjoy during this time!

Today, we are very happy to announce that the Howard Johnson Hotel in Anaheim has finally gone completely wireless!

Gone are the days when you had to sit hunched up and tethered down to that little black box on the nightstand between the beds; now you can roam free in your room and throughout our entire property- including courtyard spaces, Castaway Cove and the Garden Pool area through your Wi-Fi equipped laptops or smartphones. For those of you out there without a built-in wireless adapter, you can rent USB adapters at the Front Desk for a standard $35 check-out fee which is returned to you when you bring it back.

And best of all? It’s still free!

So whether you’ll be using our Wi-Fi to check in with work, send photos and vacation updates to loved ones back home, check Facebook and Twitter, catch up on your RSS Feed or just surf around- HoJo Anaheim will keep you connected without tying do you down!
